Thursday, May 7th, is the National Day of Prayer, a day where Americans will unite to cry out in prayer, “Lord, Hear Our Cry.” To further highlight this theme, 1 Kings 8:28 was selected as the Scripture for this year: “Hear the cry and prayer that your servant is praying in your presence this day.” On that day, let us gather on the front lawn of Mauldin City Hall from 12 Noon until 1 PM, and pray for our nation, state, community, and our people.
